Skin Care
Not everyone has skin that looks like porcelain. Most of us suffer with
acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, wrinkles, acne, age spots, sun damage,
skin cancer and more!
We can't all afford Botox, laser treatments and other "quick-fixes" to make
us look better.
There are some basics that all of us need to follow in order to have better
skin.
- Drink lots of water!
- Moisturize your skin daily. It keeps out dirt and reduces
the size of your pores. It also makes your skin feel smoother by
replacing lost moisture.
- Don't take hot baths. It actually makes dry skin worse.
A lukewarm bath or shower is best every other day. This reduces the
loss of oils that are washed away when you bath. Pat your skin dry and
moisturize immediately.
- Use mild soaps. They don't irritate and dry your skin out
as much.
- Don't lick your lips. Use a moisturizing balm instead.
Licking just dries your lips out more.
